Technical Session: This session is from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, and attendance earns 0.3 RU towards recertifications  **PivotTables for Quality Applications in Microsoft Excel.** by George Kupchik.

 

George Kupchik is the Director of Operations for Novagard® Solutions.  Novagard® Solutions produces PVC Foam, Silicone Adhesives and Sealants, and Silicone Greases and Compounds.   George holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Management from the University of Cincinnati and is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Quality Engineer and a Quality Auditor.  George led Novagard to QS9000 and ISO 9000 certification in 1999 and then upgraded to ISO/TS 16949.  George has been involved with team problem solving and was part of a team that won the governor’s award for Team Excellence.   

 

George uses many statistical tools in analyzing data.  George will be covering information on how to use Pivot Tables in Excel and how Pivot Table can be used to evaluate data. If you have data that you would like to have evaluated using a Pivot Table, bring it to the presentation Wednesday and talk to George before the meeting.

 

Next month’s Technical Presentation will be on Excel’s Hyperlinking, both within worksheets, workbooks and between workbooks. We will review methods for utilizing this tool to improve user navigation of quality tools generated in Excel. This is part of the continuing Microsoft Excel quality tools series by Dave Brown.
